Hi! I'm Joshua Stratmann — music producer, mixing engineer and the mind behind Dot Wave Studios on the North Sea island of Borkum.
Dot Wave is an acoustically treated, hybrid studio. From analog SSL outboard gear to a workflow that runs 100% remote — so you can work with me from anywhere, and if you like, you can get the coaching in person on-site too. My craft comes from a tech-focused music degree in Berlin, my roots are in urban culture — from dancing to rap and turntablism.
What's happened so far: I've led youth camps and produced kids' and teens' first own songs (much of it I can only show without vocals, for privacy reasons), worked with rappers like Iko from Düsseldorf and mixed all kinds of songs — from Rap/HipHop to Pop and Dubstep through Techno and German Schlager. That's exactly where my love for mixing was born.
